At MT Valves & Fittings we're starting the year with one of the most important projects of recent months: a dedicated regional website for our Dubai hub, designed to give UAE and GCC clients a faster, more efficient and locally-tailored experience.
The challenge wasn't trivial. Over 4,000 references designed for the hydrosanitary and industrial segments — between accessories and valves — each with its own specifications, pricing and technical details, demand a level of usability and convenience that goes beyond a standard product catalogue.
Built around three priorities
That's why the focus has been placed largely on the ability to display and promote MT products and services in an organised and intuitive way. The new site, accessible at xjcsierra.github.io/mt-valves-dubai (with the dedicated domain coming soon), prioritises three things:
- Speed — Time is short. Our customers should find what they're looking for in the shortest time possible.
- Local context — AED pricing as default, GST business hours, UAE-compliant documentation, English as the primary language with Spanish secondary, and Arabic support coming next.
- Always up to date — Pricing, stock and certifications are connected to MT's central PIM (Product Information Manager) system, so the information you read here is the same the warehouse uses.
More than a static catalogue
We want the website to be more than a digital shop window. It should be a living organism, adapting to the times and the changing needs that emerge in the Gulf region. We've enabled a space that centralises all technical and commercial information from our product catalogue in a single, permanently updated database — optimised to make our distributors' work easier.
But there's more. As you'll see, this site will become a meeting point for the sector, offering useful content for professionals: technical guides, news from international trade shows, certification updates, and product announcements. It will also be the channel through which we communicate MT's presence at industry events across the GCC.
The site is live now. The dedicated domain (mt-valves.ae) and the e-commerce checkout layer will roll out in successive phases through 2026.
