MT Valves & Fittings, the Spanish multinational specialised in valves and fittings for fluid conduction, has officially opened its first Middle East regional hub in Jumeirah Lakes Towers. The move marks the company's direct entry into the United Arab Emirates and the wider GCC market.
The Dubai operation will function as both a logistics centre and a commercial office, holding on-demand local stock of MT's most demanded references — over 25,000 units in total — for express dispatch within 48 hours across the seven Emirates and 72 hours across the GCC: Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait.
A strategic move into the Gulf
The decision to establish a physical presence in the UAE responds to growing demand for European-quality valves in the region's hydrosanitary, HVAC, industrial process and irrigation sectors. Until now, GCC clients sourcing MT products had to wait several weeks for European shipments and absorb significant import costs.
"With Dubai as our regional anchor, we eliminate import waiting times for our UAE and GCC customers," explained the project lead. "We deliver European-grade quality at local prices, with documentation pre-aligned to UAE regulations and full technical support in the same time zone."
What's available from day one
- On-demand local stock in physical local stock — brass, stainless steel, cast iron and EPDM rubber
- Dual currency pricing — AED for local UAE clients, EUR reference for distributors
- Multi-channel distribution — Amazon.ae and Noon for retail; direct B2B for distributors and project orders
- European certifications — DVGW, WRAS, ACS, AENOR, CE, ISO 9001 and 14001 documentation included with every shipment
- 48-72 hour delivery — across UAE and GCC with customs paperwork pre-aligned
Three decades of fluid-conduction expertise
Founded in 1994 in Pallejà (Barcelona, Spain), MT Valves & Fittings has grown into a Spanish multinational with presence in over 50 countries and two commercial divisions: Hidrosanitary and Industrial. The company manufactures and distributes more than 6,000 references designed under strict European quality standards, with vertically integrated engineering, R&D, quality control and logistics.
The Dubai hub joins MT's existing international subsidiaries in Mexico (MT América) and India (MT Indic), reinforcing the company's commitment to local responsiveness in key strategic markets.
Looking ahead
The first phase focuses on hydrosanitary and HVAC ranges, with butterfly valves, ball valves, check valves and Y-strainers as priority products. Expansion into the full industrial range — including DN50+ flanged products and specialised stainless steel for petrochemical applications — is planned for the second half of 2026.
"Dubai is just the start," the project lead added. "Our long-term vision is to support every contractor, distributor and project specifier across the Gulf with the same speed and quality our European clients expect from MT."
