Y-Strainers

Y-strainers — protect pumps, valves and meters from debris

MT Y-strainers capture solid particles in pipelines before they damage pumps, control valves and metering equipment. Wye configuration directs the screen at a slight angle to the flow, minimising pressure drop and easing service. Body in cast iron GG-25 (GJL-250) with epoxy paint RAL 5013, 250 µm coating. Mesh and bolting in AISI 304 stainless steel.

Standard mesh hole size 1.8 mm = 1,800 microns (custom finer or coarser meshes available on request). Designed per DIN 3202 / EN 558-1; flanges per UNE EN 1092-2. Maximum working pressure PN-16 / 16 bar, temperature -10 °C to +80 °C. Available DN15 (½″) to DN200 (8″).
