WRAS
Water Regulations Approval Scheme — the UK reference for materials in contact with potable water under BS 6920. Highest specifier weight in UAE for projects designed by British MEP consultants in Dubai Marina, DIFC and JBR.
KIWA KUKreg4
International UKAS-accredited certification for water fittings, formally recognised as equivalent to WRAS. Trusted across Europe and the Gulf for plumbing and sanitary products in commercial construction.
ACS
Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire issued by the French Ministry of Health. Frequently referenced by French-led water and utility projects across MENA for components in contact with drinking water.
DVGW
Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches. The strictest European certification for gas and water materials. Premium German engineering reference for oil & gas, district cooling and desalination projects.
TÜV Rheinland
Independent verification of MT’s quality management system (ISO 9001:2015) and environmental commitment (ISO 14001:2015). Certificate ID 9108643013, audited annually.
CSTB
Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment — French construction product certification. Complements ACS for building applications and is widely recognised by francophone consultancies in MENA.
KOMO
Dutch quality mark for construction products. Recognised by Dutch and pan-European engineering consultancies operating across European and Gulf infrastructure projects.
SINTEF
Norwegian research and certification body. Independent product certification PS 3590 demonstrates performance under demanding cold-water and corrosion-resistance conditions, including seawater exposure.
AENOR
Spanish national standardization body. Confirms MT’s products meet UNE standards and reinforces the brand’s 30 years of Spanish manufacturing heritage.
PZH
Polish National Institute of Hygiene certificate. Applies to materials in contact with water intended for human consumption — adds depth to MT’s European stack.
WaterMark
Australian certification for plumbing products. Demonstrates suitability for hot-climate, desalinated-water markets — directly relevant to UAE operating conditions.
EAC
Eurasian Conformity Mark required by the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Useful for cross-Caspian distribution opportunities.
UAE Market Compliance
Our European certifications work alongside UAE federal and emirate requirements. MT is currently completing registration with the Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS) under the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) — the federal mandatory framework for water fittings.
Because ESMA accepts test reports from ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories (the same labs behind WRAS, KIWA and ACS), our European documentation accelerates the ECAS dossier substantially. Complementary approvals from Dubai Municipality and DEWA are pursued on a project-by-project basis.
