For thirty years, MT has been a quietly reliable name in European water and industrial fluid handling. Founded near Barcelona in 1994, the company has grown into a multinational present in 46 countries, with a catalogue exceeding 4,000 references in brass, stainless steel and ductile cast iron.
What we have not had — until now — is a physical presence in the Middle East.
Why Dubai, and why now
Three things converged. First, the UAE's infrastructure pipeline is exceptional: the Tasreef stormwater programme (a multi-billion-dirham initiative), the Water Security Strategy 2036, the continuous expansion of district cooling and hospitality construction. Second, our European certification stack — WRAS, KIWA, ACS, DVGW among others — carries direct procurement weight in projects designed by British, French and German MEP consultants. Third, the gap in the market: too many imported valves are commodity-grade with thin documentation, and the alternatives are slow.
Our value proposition for the UAE is simple. European certifications. European manufacturing standards. Local stock in Dubai. A 48-hour delivery promise within the emirate, 24–72 hours across the GCC.
The Jumeirah Lakes Towers hub
Our operations base at BB1 JLT opens to first deliveries in mid-June 2026. The facility holds working stock across our priority families — ball valves, butterfly valves, check valves and gate valves — covering both potable water (DZR brass) and industrial applications (stainless steel and ductile iron).
Customers can collect directly from the hub, place B2B orders for project deliveries, or buy retail through Amazon UAE and Noon. A dedicated technical team handles consultations in English, Arabic and Spanish.
The compliance work behind the launch
Bringing European-certified products into the UAE is not just a logistics exercise. The federal Emirates Conformity Assessment Scheme (ECAS), administered by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), is mandatory for water fittings. Where importers without an existing certification stack face a 9–12 month registration cycle, our existing test reports from ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratories — the same ones backing WRAS, KIWA and ACS — are designed to accelerate the process substantially. We are advancing our ECAS dossier with the priority families and targeting certification within the launch window.
What's next
The first phase prioritises four product families and 32 high-rotation references. Phase two extends to the full hydrosanitary catalogue and ductile-iron industrial valves. Phase three brings stainless steel sanitary fittings, automation and customised solutions.
